Functional ceramics – mugs, jugs, bowls, plates and teapots - hand thrown in North Bristol. I enjoy exploring the interaction of function and form, texture and colour. 

Current work includes Marbled pottery – two coloured clays thrown together on the wheel create distinctive ripples like the sea ebbing and flowing. 

Pastel glazes on stoneware clays – the silk matt glaze contrasts with the natural stoneware clay. 

After a career working with a team creating ceramics sold all over the world, designing and making small batches on my own feels like going back to my roots.
