Olga is a ‘self-taught’ artist, but painting holidays, inspiring books and friends, all act as “idea-factories” and have some influence on her work. Inspired by her travels, she absorbs the atmosphere, takes sketchbook notes & use these with her photographs to develop paintings.

She works mostly in watercolours but also experiments with other media. Vibrant colours, textures & attention to detail gives her a real buzz. Painting is actively pursued for the joy & fulfilment it provides and is part of a personal journey. Olga would like the viewer to share the feeling that art is her happy.
