Paul trained as a designer and works on large scale corporate interior projects and major exhibitions, as well as part time lecturer.
 

Paul has recently developed his skills as an artist, and enjoys sketching and drawing on location, and in particular the freedom from technical constraints.
Inspired by coastal landscape and mountainous peaks
Typically he will sketch whilst out traveling and use his reference material to work on paintings when back in the studio.
 

The freedom of watercolour and its occasional accidents help contribute to the creation of mood and emotion. It is this aspect that Paul likes to explore in his work, as well as simply enjoying the process of painting.
 

Paul has previously exhibited in local art trails and galleries as well as the St Ives painting school. He has sold work to clients from as far a field as Australia and Japan.
